Side view
Shows the buttons. The planes pictured in back are actually spitfires flown by Yugoslavian air force personnel that were aligned with the partisan movement late in the war.
Officer's Visor Cap
This is actually an RAF visor cap that has been modified with the Royal Yugoslavian Air Force badge and buttons. This was a common practice amongst all the ex-pat personnel that flew with the RAF
Inside view
The construction of the hat shows that this was a relatively early model with the concetric purple rayon lining. There is no tailor label.
The hat badge is the emblem of the Royal Yugoslav monarch, Peter II. When the country was over run, he and his government fled to England.
