Officer's Visor Cap
This is actually an RAF visor cap that has been modified with the Royal Yugoslavian Air Force badge and buttons. This was a common practice amongst all the ex-pat personnel that flew with the RAF |

The construction of the hat shows that this was a relatively early model with the concetric purple rayon lining. There is no tailor label. |

Insignia>
The hat badge is the emblem of the Royal Yugoslav monarch, Peter II. When the country was over run, he and his government fled to England. |
