These wings have been identified as the "Wings of Steel" in Russ Huff's wing guide. They are said to be a merit award and not flight qualification wings. There are finer, silver-grade versions of these that are quite rare. These appear to be a later restrike out of metal with a silver finish.
These wings have been identified as the pilot qualification wings in Russ Huff's wing guide. They are bullion on a melton wool background. I can not say for sure that these wings are period made but they are a good example of the design and proportions.
